Life has been interesting. Hubby got me a glassblowing class for xmas. I spent Sat & Sun 10a-6p in a glassblowing class in Oakland. It's so cool! I posted the 2 things I made on Sat. I need to go pick up the stuff I made on Sunday.
It's been ages! Since I last wrote here we:
got an 8 wk old female puppy, Zia (8 Sep 2012),
had my 61 yr old father die (24 Dec 2012),
had my husbands 76 yr old Aunt die (6 Aug 2013),
brought our daughter & her husband here from Australia (11-25 Aug 2013),
put Zia down (Aggressive bone cancer, 11 Sep 2013), &
got a 4 month old female puppy, Kona (22 Sep 2013).
I have not been doing much in the way of chainmaille, but I am looking into taking blacksmithing classes! :D I also want to try glass blowing, leather working, and a whole lot of other stuff.
Update
Oldest back in college & looking to get a '54 Willy's to restore.
Oldest girl - moved to Australia for Circus school.
Youngest is headed to a specialist to see why she's against school work. Not the average I don't want to do it but the fight for 6 hours to get 3 pages done! She hates to write, math is ok but spelling, grammar, reports, or the newly added cursive & we're going around & around about getting it done.
May be time to pull out the little ones half made coif & finish it. Just need to get through Skyrim! :D
May this find you all doing well! If you aren't doing well & need a shoulder, note me. I'm a good listener!
I just wanted to see how have you been my friend! I hope life is treating you good...and if it isn't, let me know who I need to give a good Irish pummeling!
We're doing well, Thank you! Well, actually there is a jerk up here that ran my daughter off the road & didn't stop to see if she was OK. She hit the embankment at 45mph. She's over the nasty whiplash. The only damage to the car was the tire being knocked of the bead. The shop put it back on, pumped it up, checked alignment and frame & we're good to go, NO CHARGE!!! . If you can find him, he can use a very good Irish pummeling!
